About Bijoy Bayanno
What is Bijoy Bayanno?
Bijoy Bayanno is a Bangla typing application for Windows built around the established Bijoy keyboard layout. It lets you type Bangla directly from a physical keyboard using a fixed, key-mapped arrangement, and it supports both modern Unicode and traditional non-Unicode (ANSI) text. People use it for documents, publishing, education, data entry, administrative work, business communication and everyday Bangla writing.
What is this website?
bijoybayanno.net is an independent resource dedicated to Bijoy Bayanno. Our goal is to give Bangla typists a simple, fast way to download Bijoy Bayanno for Windows, alongside clear, well-organised information about the software, the Bijoy keyboard layout, and how to type Bangla effectively. We focus on being genuinely useful to the people who rely on this typing method every day.
About the Bijoy system
The Bijoy Bangla system was created by Bangladeshi journalist and technology entrepreneur Mustafa Jabbar, with the first Bijoy software released on December 16, 1988. Ananda Computers has continued developing the Bijoy keyboard layout and coding system, which later became nationally recognised standards in Bangladesh (BDS 1738:2018 and BDS 1935:2018). You can read more about that history on our homepage.
Who it is for
Bijoy Bayanno suits professional typists and data-entry operators, government and administrative work, newspaper and book production, desktop publishing, schools and students, businesses, and anyone who prefers a fixed keyboard layout over phonetic transliteration. If you are comfortable learning key positions, the fixed layout rewards practice with fast, predictable Bangla input.
